Best Greek food in town exclent recommend it for sure..
Really good place nice atmosphere and friendly vibes, The location is perfect, For the first time I came here with my and really liked this place beautiful place, The staff is really nice and friendly customer service is really good. The food here is fresh and well cooked I had Chicken kabob and chicken soup it's really delicious and tasty, The chicken is perfectly cooked. 5 stars!!!
Excellent Italian beef, best french friez ever! And.. they serve beer on tap! Good selection.Nice atmosphere
Great Local place. Good food, good service, nice little atmosphere and orders are always quick to be taken and given!
I ordered a gyro plate to go. It was worth every penny. Delicious and plentiful. That's what I value most trying out a place for the first time.
Very casual, laid back and friendly vibe. Everyone seemed to be familiar with the place and it was pretty busy. The lady at the register was also the waitress and she seemed to be in control of the flow and everything, all while chatting up customers. I thought my gyro was a bit dry, but all the food looked so good. I'll go back to give it another try and maybe choose something else from the extensive menu.
Best Chicago gyros I've had in AZ and I've tried them all living since I've lived in AZ for 14 years now. The baklava is also to die for. I have food-coma right now and it was worth it.
The food is FANTASTIC here! My favorite Greek restaurant by far. I’ve lived in Gilbert, Queen Creek, Mesa, and Chandler and have yet to find a better place. I think it’s family ran because everyone on the staff is so friendly. Take out orders are made very fast. Definitely worth checking it out.
GreT Gyros and Spanikopita. Never had anything but the best Greek food ever
Food was good. Four stars because not enough tzatziki on sandwich and could not buy more. First restaurant ever been to where they would not sell you more.
I first went hear about 7 years ago and it was ok. It was only ok because it was dirty, small space, wobbly chairs, and typical greek items on menu were descent. Recently I visited again after many years past and it has been remodelled into a much bigger space with a full bar and TV entertainment on walls. Unfortunately;; the GF options are still limited on their menu.
Good food. Good service. A good selection of Greek foods, well prepared. Expect to wait a little longer than usual as food is prepared as ordered.
I went there today and had great service. Called and in and in 15 minutes had my food to order and very warm. That cook is excellent. And the woman who took my order was also quick and very kind, I wish they had 100 restaurants like this around the valley. Thank you very much for serving us community .
Went there yesterday to place an order for takeout, and was really disappointed. Ordered two Gyros with extra Tzatziki sauce. I was told they were unable because they were out of Tzatziki sauce. A Greek Gyro restaurant that doesn’t have Tzatziki sauce?????? They should have a little too much on hand, than too little.
Finally a GOOD!!! shish kabob place with great meat and a savoring sauce to compliment the food, really nice service and clean bathrooms.. highly recommended well worth the trip.
Great food. Fast service. Nice place to stop for a good meal.
I live in the area and have passed this place COUNTLESS times! Today, my husband and I stopped in for lunch - ordered their Gyro and my kids ordered the burgers - and what can I say .... I feel like I am living in NY again. The staff was amazing, the food is delicious and we will for sure return! Thank you :)
I ate Gyros for years in Detroit (Greektown) and at some of the best Greek restaurants in the Metropolitan area. I,m impressed with the Gyros here at Chicago Gyros and will be back. Great tzatziki sauce too!
George is a great guy, gyros here are delicious and fresh. I always get a gyro and a Falafel salad which is served with a delicious red wine vinegar dressing. I haven't tried much else except for the Baklava which George makes himself with walnuts or pistachios or both is absolutely to-die-for.
The food is better hot, best to dine in and eat. Onions way to strong to have the amount they always put on.
The gyros are authentic and fantastic. The place is clean and the staff including owner are very nice people. Oh and the fries are always fresh. Yum
We go here often as it’s the closest we’ve gotten to Greek authenticity! The place is busy at the usual times but oh so worth the wait! Again, family owned and operated! Go see them! Get your Gyro on!
Very clean. The gyro and fries were delicious! Woman that took order was very nice. As soon as she was free from taking orders she was cleaning tables and refilling supplies. Great experience!
New to the area and was looking for somewhere to find good Mediterranean food. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and it was quite busy. There was one person, I assume the owner, at the register and delivering food to tables and one more person, I assume the owner's mother, manning the grill. It took 25 minutes for my Greek salad with chicken to be ready for take away. They definitely need more workers to handle the demand. This is not the reason I am giving 2 stars, however. Neither the owner, nor the woman making the food, were wearing gloves while handling food. Several times, the owner went from the cash register to handling food, to delivering food to tables and back to handling money. I was appalled. My Greek salad was just ok, not the best I ever had. The chicken was a bit pink inside on some pieces. The flavor of the chicken that was cooked was delicious. Pita bread was lovely. Taziki sauce was really good as well. I will not be returning to this restaurant, however.
Nice place to eat. Had the Italian beef dipped. Wrong bread, fell apart before we could finish it. Used to be as good as the big stores.
I was gonna post a picture of the food, but I ate it too fast. I don't dine out AT ALL anymore, but I made a quick stop here and love it! Food and people are great. Clean bathroom as well!
Best Greek restaurant in the east valley. Recently expanded from tiny to small. Well done expansion. All of the staff appear to be of Greek heritage. Service is fast and friendly. Food is the best. Love the Chicago memorabilia on the walls.
It is hard to find good Chicago style food and I found this gem when they first opened and have been going every since. They have the best gyros, italian beef and most definitely the pizza puffs. I'm on my way to get an Italian beef dipped (wet) with hot peppers lol. I love the owner and his mom. Good people and fantastic food.
Good food and service. Nice place for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner and drinks.
Good gyros and the dining room is open
A nice surprise. My husband and I hadn't had a gyro in years and we were not disappointed. They were very good. Next time I go I want to try the Chicago Dog but if I try the hot dog then I can't have the gyro. Decisions, Decisions. This is counter service.
Had my first beef shawarma sandwich. It was delicious 😋.
Enjoyed our meal here, figured we’d try a new place in the area that wasn’t the typical chain restaurant. We liked the Gyro meat, salad, fries and cheesesteak. Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside but inside it’s much bigger than it looks. Would have possibly given 5 stars but the man cooking the food was very rude to his employe running the register and barked at her/us for not ordering correctly. She seemed new but you shouldn’t let your customers see your negative outings with an employee. We’d try it again though. Everyone has a rough day. Also, a little pricier than expected for the amount of food we received.
Unbelievably good gyros. I’ve tried so many places and they never get ALL the ingredients right. It’/“s either bland sauce or a dry pita or meat. Every ingredient in the gyros here is to die for!!! So, so good!
This is one of those places you would likely pass on by if you didn't know how good the food and friendly the service is.One of the valley's best kept secrets
The most delicious chicken gyro I've ever had! I highly recommend Chicago's #1! I've been going there for about 5 years now and have never been disappointed.
Very delicious. The atmosphere is spacious and pleasant. Service is excellent.
Great food, didn't like the Trump hat at the register
Hubby and I come here all the time and the food is always great. Sometimes it takes a while for the food to be cooked but with only two people cooking I don't complain. Well worth it!
One of my favorite go tos. Always delicious!
Best gyros outside of Chicago. Combo was near perfect. Good fries, friendly & efficient service. Only downside? Pepsi drink products.
My wife and I were verbally attacked when we tried to order. We asked a question and the owner was extremely rude. Other customers had similar issues. I am not a difficult customer and if you want to be treated like garbage go here. He's also great at charging you on items you didn't order, he's done this several times. So check your receipt. I will never return and I recommend that you never go here. Food is not that great.
They really do a great job. Reminds me of back home. It's know more expensive as anywhere else and it's always tasty.Update. The gyro plate with a salad rice and pita bread. " heavenly" 10/10
Great food great prices fast friendly service
Love this place. The staff is so friendly and the food is every time I go.
Awesome service, very courteous and friendly. Food was fresh and great, had the gyros and fries, nice and hot, and fast to come out . Thank You for the great experience.
Friendly staff, clean, good food. I bit pricey or else I would frequent more.
Always fresh made to order meals. Very consistent in their quality and customer service. My friend introduced me to their delicious Italian Beef and Sausage combo meal that is served with choice of sweet or hot peppers, Aj juice sauce on the side or Chicago-style by having a sandwich dipped in the au juice and potato fries for less than their competitors. And far better taste.
I stopped over at this restaurant on my way back from the Doctors office. Since I moved to AZ from Eastern part of the country I was missing the variety cuisine that is authentic. I ordered Gyro with onion rings. The food was delish and the people were so nice. The cook and owner is Greek so I knew the food will be great. I will go back again and will recommend this place to everyone.
Best gyro I’ve had in a while, well proportioned. Good price and very tasty. Will definitely be coming back.
